The High street is full of colour and spectical at Fringe time. But one thing more than anything else sells your show; whether street performer or Fringe show, costume. Even I've done costume changes in years gone by.
People see that something special, that bit of effort and it's something to enjoy. It's your persona for the hour in the spotlight.
Something Else Productions got it right the year they brought their production of Rabbit to the Fringe. The bunny girls got a lot of attention. And it had nothing to do with their show.
So use your imagination, and step into the eyes and head of the street and become someone, something other than you for an hour.
It makes my life and those you entertain lives more interesting.
