Many years ago while working on my Odeon cinema history I'd stumbled upon Louise Brooks: star of Pandora's Box and Diary of a Lost Girl. Pandora's Box one of my all time favourite films. The Brook's bob; Louise's iconic hair style became an iconic hair style of the flapper age. Louise's presence in her movies was and is totally mesmerising. It's a must see for film fans everywhere.
So walking on to the High street to find a member of the cast of Diamond Dick sporting a Brooks Bob hair style she became an instant source of photographic inspiration. And I can see over the next few weeks the possibility of a good few more photos appearing here.
The rain did come today too, washing away the brightness that the sun had poured on the Mile the day before, but that didn't damped too many spirits.
Entertainment and laughter continued. As it always will in and on the High street during the Fringe.
